The true pictures and commentary from the Dagenham Demo 12/3/2011

Saturday, 12 March 2011 – 1300 locals say no !! Don’t they matter ?

To Becontree Dagenham for the EDL Demo and rally in protest against the building of a mosque (and community centre) despite the opposition of local residents and the advice of the Council planning officials.

I arrived early to take another look at the site. To recap the Becontree Heath Islamic Society has acquired the site of four shops on one corner of the crossroad where Burnside Road crosses Green Lane. On the other corners are a halal butchers, a halal restaurant and the block of flats on the site of the Royal Oak pub.

A few enthusiasts of Unite Against Fascism (aka Unite all fascists) were gathering outside the site of the intended mosque and the Halal restaurant on the opposite corner. Council workers were unloading barricades from a lorry. Unison is one of the public service unions whose members face job losses and redundancies. This Saturday this woman has other things to concern her. She didn’t do very well with her leaflets – some were torn up in front of her and other people refused to take them.

I decided to walk the route of the march which was to start just past Chadwell Heath railway station to meet it at its start point. The march moved off, maybe 200-300 strong, (including two men I know from March for England) and picking up interested people on the way.

We stopped at Chadwell heath station where flowers were laid and a minutes silence held for the supporter who was killed in an accident there last month.

“Out of respect for the family we are keeping this quiet and simple. We won’t name him but he was someone’s son and someone’s brother, he was a patriot and a good lad”

Traffic slowed down to see what was happening and every driver that I observed wound down his or her window to accept a flyer explaining the purpose of the march.

“This is a peaceful protest to sow support for the people of Dagenham whose wishes are being overlooked by their elected council”

We made our way down Burnside Road south towards Green Lane. The Hinds Head pub in Burnside Road closed in 2009.

Local residents came out of their houses to wave and cheer from their gardens. Some joined in. One woman offered the use of her house for toilet facilities. The marshals ensured that marchers kept to the pavement on both sides of the road until we neared the junction with Green Lanes on the one way section which had been cordoned off for the rally. Then the march centred on the road.

At Green Lane the police asked EDL members to remain inside the area set aside but I was able to wander round some back doubles and back into Green Lane to observe from the front.

The UAF had been moved along to a position in front of the bakers and handy for the bus stop.

Here they are, all 10 of them, enjoying a take away latte.

As well as the Unison flag there were flags of the other public service unions. Unite fund the UAF heavily. PCS are the Civil Service union which did nothing to help me when my job was reorganised (cut).

I saw they had a group in discussion with them. I have no idea what was said but as a No 128 bus came up they all got on it with police assistance. The 128 goes from Becontree Heath to Claybury. Claybury used to be the site of one of the London County Lunatic Asylums which opened in 1893 and was still serving as a NHS psychiatric hospital until it closed 100 years later when Care in the Community was felt to be a better means of treatment. The sight of the UAF sat on the top deck tickled my rather silly sense of humour.

They left their placards behind. I wasn’t the only person offended at reading “EDL not welcome” when we live (or once lived) in the borough. This woman decided to tidy up her street after them.

Whose streets? Our streets!

Back at the EDL site the singing and speeches were attracting an audience of local people who were pleased that someone, even if it was not their elected representatives, was taking note of their views. Local women were handing round their second petition. Children were lifted onto the halal butcher’s empty stall to get a better view, where several of them danced to the songs that were sung.

Kev Carroll one of the founding leaders of the EDL had travelled from Luton. He assured the people of Dagenham that if the Council did not take heed of their objections and refused to reconsider their support for the mosque then a national EDL demonstration would be called and members from all over the country would come to lend support. This pronouncement was cheered and clapped.

LBBD has very strict rules about the drinking of alcohol in public which the EDL members kept. The march was well supervised by EDL stewards and accompanied by the police. It was good humoured throughout although something was thrown at them from one passing car – one of the few motorists who didn’t toot an encouraging rhythmic phrase. After the rally finished marchers were escorted up Burnside Road back towards Chadwell Heath Station and a welcoming pub for some refreshment and a chance to socialise.

I had got talking to a family who were doing their shopping. They were disappointed that Green Lanes is no longer the shopping centre for their needs that it used to be. The husband said that the involvement of the EDL gave him hope that now the authorities would be made to listen at last because “Luv – this is just going to get bigger and bigger”.

We have drawn the line. Let Dagenham be where the islamsation of East London encroaching into Essex stops.

Notes on the scum who’ll be at the West Mids UAF Conference (2.4.2011)

West Mids UAF conference: Stop the rise of the far right
West Midlands UAF is holding a conference on stopping the rise of the far right, on Saturday 2 April.

Speakers for the event include Jack Dromey MP, Cllr Salma Yaqoob, UAF joint secretaries Weyman Bennett and Sabby Dhalu, John Partridge – Midlands assistant general secretary at Unitethe union, Paul Scarrat of Yorkshire and Humber UAF and speakers from the Muslim Association of Briatin and the North Staffs Campaign Against Racism and Fascism.

While the electoral rise of the BNP has been checked by antifascist campaigning, the threat posed by racist and fascist ideology is far from over.

Across Europe and the US we have seen a rising tide of racism, particularly aimed at Muslims. In Britain, this has encouraged a climate in which ideas that few years ago would have been regarded as completely racist are now seen as increasingly ‘respectable’, and has spurred on the rise of the English Defence League.

West Midlands UAF says:

“The sustained attack on the very idea of multiculturalism coming from mainstream politicians has been taken up and sharpened by the far right. That is why we need to keep organising to stop the rise of the far right.”

The conference will take up three themes:

1. DEFEATING THE BNP AT THE BALLOT BOX. Antiracists and antifascists must continue to organise against the British National Party electorally, so that the humiliation they suffered in Barking and Dagenham last year is repeated wherever they stand.

2. NO TO THE RACIST THUGS OF THE EDL. Wherever the EDL spread their message of hatred and violence, antiracists must demonstrate for a diverse society.

3. OPPOSE ISLAMOPHOBIA, DEFEND MULTICULTURALISM. We must organise to defend our diverse society from those who hate it.

The conference will be open to all who wish to stand against the rise of the far right and build a diverse multicultural society.

Details
Saturday 2 April, 10am to 1pm.
Refreshments will be provided.

For more information, to book a place, or to contribute, email West Mids UAF or phone 07949 622 903

Notes on some of the speakers at the West Mids UAF Conference

Sabby Dhalu – Basically a career ‘anti-fascist’ and an intellectual/political non-entity. She’s Asian (as Alan Partridge would put it) and may have got her job as an act of Leftist positive and pious discrimination.

Jack Dromey MP – MP for Birmingham’s Erdington; though that doesn’t stop him from having two other houses – one in leafy Suffolk and the other in politically-correct Herne Hill, South London.

He’s married to the super-posh Harriet ‘I was born to lead’ Harman. Harman, of course, began life as a Trot, as did Dromey, and ended up as a snobby Fabian-type New Labourite (as so many have done) who loves to tell people how to live their lives – as Fabians have always done and as Trots would like to do. Jack Dromey MP has been involved in three serious financial scandals in his time and is Labour Treasurer… ummm.

Coun. Salma Yaqoob – Leader of No Respect

John Partridge – Of the far-left union Unite. That’s it. Oh, he appears at conferences like this one too.

Paul Scarrat – Just UAF and he too appears at conferences like this.

and finally……..

The Muslim Association of Britain – The MAB is actively pro-Palestinian. In 2002, it organised a large pro-Palestinian rally in London. Some of the demonstrators dressed up as suicide bombers in support of Hamas and other Islamoterrorists (as was also the case at the 2006 demo outside the Danish embassy, which was also organised by the MAB).

The MAB played a key part in the Stop the War Coalition and helped organise the rally against the war in Iraq (2003). It also did the same in London in Feb 2006, outside the Danish Embassy, against the Danish Cartoons. That is, against the democratic right of free speech and free expression; something these Islamists themselves practice and enjoy but only in order to stop others (non-Muslims) from doing so themselves.

The MAB organised the visit of al-Qaradawi to the UK on 2004. This much-loved Islamist cleric believes in wife-beating, physical punishment for homosexuality, ‘martyrdom’ (suicide bombings) against Israeli citizens and, last not least, he’s a personal friend of Red Kenneth (once ‘rainbow’ and ‘red’, now ‘green’ – in the Islamist, not Green Party, sense). He has also described the Islamist insurgency in Iraq as ‘valiant’.

Dr Azzam al-Tamimi, MAB spokesman, has said that suicide bombings are part of the Islamist ‘struggle’. Has said that Israel will be destroyed and replaced by an Islamic state, and that Jews should ‘sail on the sea in ships back to where they came from and all drown in it’ (2003). He has also said:

‘As a Muslim, martyrdom is an integral part of Islamic theology and these young men from the Islamic perspective are not committing suicide… What they are doing is that they are turning themselves as an act of sacrifice into bombs…’

Osama Saeed, former spokesman of MAB and now prominent at Al Jazeera, has said that it’s not up to British Muslims to defeat or do anything about Islamoterrorism. Not only that. He once said that attacking the idea of the universal Islamic caliphate was ‘the equivalent of criticising the Pope’.

Mohammed Kassem Sawalha is a former president of the MAB. According to US court documents, in the early 1990s Sawalha was a leading militant ‘in charge of Hamas terrorist operations within the West Bank’.

Get the connections? Muslim Brotherhood – MAB – Hamas.

The MAB is the Muslim Brotherhood’s British branch.

The Muslim Brotherhood started its Islamoterrorist campaign of bombings and assassinations in the late 1920s, twenty years before the formation of Israel, forty or so years before Israel ‘occupied’ the West Bank and Gaza, and around seventy-five years before the US/UK ‘invasions’ of Afghanistan and Iraq.

UAF Epic fail in Dagenham

From the UAF website 08.03.2011 : ‘ Local people and antifascist campaigners are determined to show the racists and fascists are not welcome in Dagenham on 12 March.’

Well it seems obvious, the good folk of Dagenham don’t welcome reprobates of any persuation judging by their overwhelming rejection of the UAF today.

Today was important. It should be shoved down the UAF’s skanky throats whenever they harp on about ‘outsiders’ and ‘locals’ every time the EDL demonstrate. The UAF turnout consisted of less than 10 (TEN) UNION OFFICIALS. No LOCALS supported them. None. ZERO.

I won’t pretend to know the demographics of Dagenham but it would appear the UAF/Unions don’t have a large constituency of ‘local’ muslim youth to call upon and agitate and let’s face it, that’s all they have now.

The students have fucked them off : Remember Manc, Leeds and Bolton had massive student turnouts. Where are they now ? I’ll tell you. They are facing up to the fact they’re going to graduate in massive debt and in competition for jobs going to those willing to work for buttons who can’t speak English. Thanks a bunch NO BORDERS.

Who else is missing ? You’re average decent citizen, that’s who. After all, what normal person isn’t against ‘Fascism’ ? indeed, who wouldn’t embrace ‘Hope’ over ‘Hate’ ? Empty and emotive slogans clearly aren’t working anymore so that’s Joe Public turning his back. He’s proud of his ancestors who actually fought Fascism and whose ‘hope’ now lies in the Lottery. Thanks again, NO BORDERS

Then there’s the middle-class public sector sort who had a job for life….then didn’t. Gold plated pension and a platinum coated conscience both gone. They’re mortgaged up to their necks-ends, and turning their anger on the coalition. ‘Fuck the oppressed of Palestine. I want my life back,’ they’re saying. Or rather, thinking.

Smash the EDL ? They couldn’t give a fuck anymore and the UAF know it. These people may have been stupid during the ‘good times’ but now the shit’s hitting the fan, they’ve deserted, never to return

The Morning Star on the EDL Rochdale demo and on Rochdale’s ethnically-diverse fairies

EDL Extra comments on the Morning Star news item, ‘Rochdale unites to fend off EDL’, Rory MacKinnon, 7th March, 2011. (Comments are in bold.)

Anti-fascists and Muslim communities joined forces on Saturday to fight anti-Islam mobs in Greater Manchester.
[No they didn’t ‘join forces’. The insider video I have seen is exclusively of young Muslims. Not only that, they were repeatedly chanting ‘Allahu akbar!’ How do Leftists feel about that chant? It is not a socialist or Marxist chant. It is not about ‘liberation’ or the case against ‘oppression’. It is an Islamic war cry, just as the Islamic black flag is a battle flag for Islamic expansionism or imperialism. How do Daily Star Communists square these circles? Do they feed themselves self-deluding clichés about ‘unity against oppression’ and the ‘communal fight against fascists’? How do they manage it? These Muslims would kill them if they had the power to do so.

Marxism and Socialist are ‘man-centred’ ideologies. Islam is ‘Allah-created’ ideology (umm, religion). They hate Commies as much as they hate the EDL. They are using Leftists. Then again, Leftists are attempting to use Muslims to bring about the never-occurring revolution or just plain radicalisation. Good luck, you leftist imbeciles.]

Members of the white supremacist English Defence League (EDL) gathered in Rochdale town centre over the weekend, accusing the local Muslim population of child sex abuse.
[The ‘white supremacist EDL’? That’s a new Leftist lie on me. Another lie ‘for Justice’? The Commies of the Morning Star know damn well that the EDL is not white supremacist. But that doesn’t matter. If such name-calling works politically, then the Morning Star will use it – which makes them indistinguishable from the Trots who are more obvious ‘liars for Justice’. If you are a white supremacist, you join the National Front, or Stormfront, or whatever. You don’t join a group with blacks, Asians and Jews in it. And no, these blacks and Asians aren’t ‘Uncle Toms’ who are suffering from ‘false consciousness’ – the false consciousness that comes from not agreeing with what the Commies at the Morning Star say. In fact, you are the Uncle Toms of the Muslims and Islamists.]

Anti-fascist activists Unite Against Fascism and members of the Muslim community turned out to counter-demonstrate, with police erecting a fence between the groups.

Rochdale police said they had made 34 arrests – including three counts of possession of an offensive weapon – but added they were satisfied the event was largely non-violent.

Local media estimated around 500 EDL supporters and 100 Unite Against Fascism members in attendance.

But Unite Against Fascism co-ordinator Weyman Bennett said he believed many EDL members had been bussed in from out of town.
[But Weyman Bennett, of the Central Committee of the SWP, is himself from ‘out of town’! He’s a fucking Londoner! Christ, I don’t think these people would recognise hypocrisy if it were to choke them. And what about Martin Smith from Hackney? What about the fact that many of UAF are from London and the Home Counties? What about all the trade union activists – or members’ money-spenders – from all over the country?]

The sheer number of localised EDL demonstrations made it difficult to mobilise counterdemonstrators every weekend, he said.
[Ha! Ha!]

But the Rochdale event saw “a very good turnout,” with closer to 250 counterdemonstrators once Muslim groups and trade unions were included.
[When the ‘local media’ print UAF members, they underestimate them? When they print EDL members, they overestimate them? Yet that ‘local media’ spews out whatever the UAF tells them to spew out before and during these demos. They literally quote UAF without even acknowledging the source. Yet still there is still a hint of Morning Star conspiracy here against the local media.]

The EDL had planned to march on a local Islamic centre but the counterprotest and police kettling had prevented this, he said.
[Yes, the police ‘kettles in’ the EDL too. But the ‘state’s arm’, the police, is only against UAF and the Muslims, eh? The exact opposite is the case. The top ranks of the police have been force-fed political correctness and Leftist homilies about multicultural for the last twenty years or so. Hasn’t UAF/SWP heard some of the Islamophile statements which once came from Sir Ian Blair, former Police Commisioner? No. Marxists have told us that the police is ‘the arm of the right-wing state’. And we must obey the Marxist theorists. That’s how politically sophistically we are.]

“They didn’t get to do what they said they would do, so that’s a success.”

Spokesmen for local mosques and Islamic centres could not be contacted for comment.

Rochdale Council leader Councillor Colin Lambert said: “Rochdale’s diverse communities are to be commended for their co-operation, tolerance and restraint through what has been a challenging time.
[More soundbites from a soundbite-plagued PC politician. Empty as fuck!]

“It has been a hard day for town-centre businesses and I understand many have tried and succeeded in operating as normally as possible.
[Oh, so the Morning Star actually cares about ‘businesses’ after all? No. Only when it is useful for attacking the EDL by ‘whatever means necessary’. It is also hilarious when you hear hardened Leftists talk about the amount of money taxpayers’ have provided to police EDL demos. The hypocrisy of these people is nauseating.]

“We will continue to work closely with our partners in the police and within our communities to reassure people well after the protest and into the future that Rochdale is a town of harmony.” [A ‘town of harmony’ and of lovely little ethnically-diverse fairies at the bottom of every Rochdale garden.]

Get your Dog Whistle for the next Demo.

A dog whistle (also known as silent whistle or Galton’s whistle) is a type of whistle used in the training of dogs and cats.

The frequency range of a dog whistle is largely out of the range of human hearing. Typically, a dog whistle is within the range of 16 to 22 kHz with only the frequencies below 20 kHz audible to the human ear. Some dog whistles have adjustable sliders for active control of the frequency produced.

Depending on the way the whistle is used, a trainer may simply gather a dog’s attention or inflict pain for the purpose of behavior modification.

The name dog whistle is often used for both lung-powered whistles as well as electronic devices that emit ultrasonic sound via piezoelectric emitters. The electronic variety are sometimes coupled with bark detection circuits in an effort to curb barking behavior.

ACME Dog whistles are probably the best available and are British made.

They are famous for the 535 Silent Dog whistle. As well as training dogs (can help quiten dogs) it is also the International standard for training mammals (seals, dolphins, killer whales!!)

ACME 535 Silent Dog Whistle (Nickel Plated)

ACME have a full range of cheaper plastic dog whistles including all the new colours.

Here is a view of the counter protest as viewed from the EDL area:

Notice all the white UAF/SWP brothers and sisters protesting with their Muslim brothers (didnt see any Muslim sisters there BTW) – hordes of them, hundreds, I dont know how the police would have coped if they had broken through the police lines and attacked the EDL ! what a laugh…..hahahahaha

UAF/SWP embarrasses itself at the EDL Rochdale demo

EDL Extra comments on the Metro news item, ‘EDL demonstration in Rochdale leads to 34 arrests’, by John O’Hare, 5.March.2011. (Comments are in bold.)

Almost 500 supporters of the far-right group travelled to the north-west town for the event, while around 100 people gathered for a counter-demonstration organised by Unite Against Fascism.
[A mere 100 UAF counter-demonstrators! And to think of how much student, lecturer, professor, BBCists, civil servant, public service workers’, etc. support they’re supposed to have. Was it because it was ‘just Up North’? Who cares about Up North, eh? Or was it because the Leftist Great and the Good couldn’t find a cheap Malaysian nanny for the day? Perhaps they were cleaning their two cars or holding meetings about the EDL!]

Greater Manchester Police had a high-profile presence on the ground and, with the help of leaders from the local Asian community, managed to keep the peace.
[With only 100 participants, UAF/SWP couldn’t really disturb the peace, could they? They would have loved too, but only militant Muslims are suicidal.]

A metal fence was erected between the EDL and UAF supporters who gathered close to the Cenotaph, and although there were some minor disturbances, there were few signs of the situation degenerating into violence.
[Of course! The UAF/SWP wants to utterly destroy the EDL. Or, as it puts it, ‘ban it’.]

Three people were detained for possession of an offensive weapon, but most of the arrests were for minor public order offences, for failing to remove face masks and for being drunk and disorderly. [Arrested for ‘failing to move face masks’? Presumably EDL. Does this mean that female Islamists will be arrested for failing to remove their face masks – the burka? I hope so. The difference is that EDL only wear face masks at demos and to protect themselves from identification from Leftist and Muslim thugs (or from employers who would sack them for being EDL). In addition, to make a point about the burka itself.

Female Islamists, on the other hand, wear the burka not as a sign of modesty, etc., but as a political statement of separation from kuffar society. It’s a two-fingered salute to the West. That means that all burka-wearing women are Islamists – and that’s why most of them are young.]

After the EDL supporters had been escorted from the town centre and put on coaches, Chief Superintendent John O’Hare declared his satisfaction with how the afternoon’s events had unfolded.

‘A fantastic operation has taken place today and community reassurance is taking place now and into the night,’ he said.
[‘Community reassurance’? I’m not sure what that means. Did he say: Well, the EDL didn’t come here to kill you, despite what the UAF/SWP tried to say to you. No. He wouldn’t have said that.]

EDL supporters had carried banners with slogans such as ‘Patriotism is not a crime’ and ‘Protect all children from Islamists’.

The Manchester Evening News reported that they had been addressed by a speaker who talked about allegations of sexual exploitation of children in Rochdale.
[‘Allegations of sexual exploitation’? No way! Is the word ‘allegation’ being used legally or politically here? There have been countless convictions of Muslim gangs in the North West for sexual exploitation. And in Rochdale itself there have been convictions. So it is a disgrace to say that this terrible and widespread example of Islamic ‘booty’ exploitation is mere ‘allegation’. It is not. It is just one more symptom of how Muslim men treat the kuffar – in this case kuffar girls.]

Anti-EDL demonstrators, who included representatives of local mosques and trade unions, carried placards reading ‘Smash the English Defence League’ and ‘EDL + BNP = Nazi-racist thugs’.
[Nazi thugs! Nazi thugs! Nazi thugs! Nazi thugs!… Change the freaking tune! Why not try debate or argument for once? Oh, I forgot. NO Platform for the EDL… and the BNP, and Zionists, and neocons, and neoliberals, and right-wingers of all descriptions, and even the right-wing of the Conservative Party in the 1980s… bugger that. There was a No Platform policy for all the Conservative Party in the 1980s and that could very easily return. Most of these No Platformers are Communists and Trotskyists after all.]

Political Persecution in Britain 2011 – Newcastle Demo 10/3/11

A number of EDL members from Newcastle have been charged with an affray and are due to appear in Newcastle Magistrates court on the 10th March 2011.

The incident occurred at Newcastle Irish Centre, Stowell Street, last September, The monthly SWP (Socialist Workers Party) meet was planned and the EDL also planned to have a peaceful demonstration against those left wing fascists.

From the information I have been given there were a number of EDL members in the public house across the road at the Rosie Malones pub, when 2 EDL members went across the Irish Centre to enquire if the SWP meeting was still taking place one of the EDL members was then dragged into the Irish Centre by one of the doormen and then attacked, when the fellow members from the EDL rushed to help their friend from being attacked by the doorman things then become a little unclear as to what happens next.

What is clear from the information, is that the doorman from the Irish Centre clearly provoked this incident and it can be seen quite clearly from the CCTV footage that this is this case, but unfortunately the doorman has yet to be questioned over this matter?

Whilst at the same time the members from the EDL have all since been arrested initially on suspicion of Violent Disorder which carries a maximum sentence of 5 years imprisonment, the reason this charge was used is so that the Police could raid peoples houses and cart away peoples mobile phones and computers etc.

Initially six EDL members were arrested in the coming weeks and then the Newcastle Evening Chronicle run an appeal with mugshots of 10 other suspects, I have been led to believe that all 10 have either been arrested or handed themselves into the Police.

Yet again this is another politically motivated court case that will cost the tax payers huge sums of money, the corrupt and politicised CPS have initiated Affray charges against a number of people who were present, and a number of these people are quite clearly innocent of any crime as the CCTV footage shows.

Should these people expect a fair trial ? I suspect in Britain 2011 these people will not get a fair trial, how much longer are the British and particularly the English people going to take this and continually allow corruption in all government departments from the top right to bottom.

Not until people start to vote and vote for a new vehicle to express their disgust at the current political elite will anything ever change.

The Newcastle branch of the EDL is planning a static peaceful static demonstration outside of Newcastle Magistrates Court on the morning of the 10th March 2011, I would urge all readers to support this demonstration and help to put an end to political persecution here in England in 2011.

Why the EDL are Going to Rochdale , Official EDL promo

A LOOK INTO WHY ROCHDALE NEED A DEMO FROM THE EDL
FOR MORE INFORMATION PLEASE GO TO …. http://www.facebook.com/English.Defence.League.EDL

Now then, I want that text application you have it’s affective. As for what is being said I agree, only the people of Rochdale think that what goes on there is normal. There is much worse to come out from Rochdale yet regarding the pakistani muslims and their exploitation of children. A lot of the crime in the town is being covered up from the media and the only way to get a story is to investigate it yourself. Rochdale is rotten and corrupt to the core and it all has to do with pakistanis.

Will there be UAF/SWP violence at the EDL demo in Rochdale?

EDL Extra comments on the Rochdale Observer news item, ‘EDL and UAF to hold simultaneous protests in Rochdale’, by Simon Coyle, 1.2.2011. (Comments in bold.)

Far right group the English Defence League (EDL) is to stage a demonstration in Rochdale town centre on Saturday. [The EDL is not ‘far right’! ‘Far right’ = fascist. The EDL is not a fascist group.]

The anti-Islamist group have planned a protest outside Rochdale Town Hall.

In response members of left wing campaign group Unite Against Fascism are to demonstrate at the same time. [So the EDL is ‘far right’ but UAF is simply classed as ‘left wing’? Yet UAF is run by the far-left Trotskyist party, the Socialist Workers Party, which believes in violent revolution and supports terrorist groups like Hamas and, formerly, the IRA.]

Hundreds are expected to take part in the anti-fascism march in Stoneyfield Park, Boundary Street, Deeplish at 11am. [It will not be an ‘anti-fascism march’ at all. It will be a Trotskyist march against English patriots and English anti-Islamists – not the same thing. In fact UAF supports Islamofascists like Hamas, Hezbollah and a whole host of other killers and extremists. But they’re Brown, Exotic and not ‘Western capitalists’.]

Barbara Cook, who has helped organise the Unite Against Fascism march said: “We have heard that the EDL are coming in response to the allegations in the media regarding the exploitation of young girls. [‘Allegations’? They aren’t allegations! Muslims pimp and groom non-Muslim girls on a massive scale throughout England; especially in the North West (e.g., Bradford, Keighley, Blackburn, Oldham and, yes, Rochdale). Can the Brown Exotic Oppressed do no wrong in the eyes of UAF and other far leftists? Can only white people ‘exploit young girls’ and be fascists and racists? It seems so.]

“We are a very multicultural town and have a good relationship within the community and as a community we should come out in force. [More leftist soundbites with zero content and zero factual status.]

“We are not out to fight, we are out to demonstrate peacefully.” [Oh yes?! Is that why your leader, Martin Smith, has been arrested more than two times for acts of violence at UAF demos? Is that why another UAF leader, Weyman Bennett, was also arrested for encouraging violence at the Bolton demo? Is that why the UAF/SWP act out their leftist violent fantasies at every EDL ‘counter-demo’?]

According to an EDL internet message board the group will be meeting at Rochdale railway station .

The Observer contacted the EDL but at the time of going to press no-one was available to comment.

A spokesman from Greater Manchester Police said they have not received a formal request for protest from the EDL. [Usually the EDL does liaise with the police; so I’m not sure what’s happened here.]

A Rochdale council spokesman said the authority was aware of the planned EDL demonstration and was working with Greater Manchester Police but had not given any permission.

We will be covering the protests live on English Defence League Extra on Saturday.
