‘British troops burn in hell’: Muslim extremists face EDL supporters in ugly scenes outside poppy-burning trial

World War Two veteran’s grandson’s ‘tears of rage’ as he watched demonstration during two minutes’ silence

Muslim extremists chanted ‘British troops burn in hell’ outside a court today, as two men went on trial for burning poppies on Remembrance Day.

Ugly scenes erupted outside Belmarsh Magistrates’ Court, south-east London, as Muslims gathered to support Mohammed Haque and Emdadur Choudhury, who are accused of using ‘threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour’.

Their supporters’ chants of ‘democracy, hypocrisy’ were met with jeers from members of the English Defence League who waved flags of St George and placards of poppies.

The defendants were allegedly part of a group who shouted slogans that British soldiers were rapists and murderers during a demonstration on November 11 last year.

The incident happened during a two-minute silence close to the Royal Albert Hall where the Remembrance Day service is traditionally held.

Emdadur Choudhury

Haque, 30, of Bethnal Green, and Choudhury, 26, of Spitalfields, pleaded not guilty to the charge under the Public Order Act.

Mohammad Haque

Simon Ray, prosecuting, said Haque and Choudhury were part of the Armistice Day demo by the group Muslims Against Crusades in Kensington Gore.

He said they were protesting before and throughout the two-minute silence to mark Britain’s war dead.

Shortly after the end of the silence the two men lit large pieces of red and black plastic which were designed to resemble poppies, the court heard.

Mr Ray said that both defendants had acted jointly in the burning of the poppies.
‘Muslims Against Crusades had gathered at the corner of Exhibition Road and Kensington Gore and on an opposite corner were members of the English Defence League,’ said Mr Ray.

‘The MAC protesters were carrying signs with slogans critical of Britain’s role in Afghanistan and used microphones to voice vehement criticism of the Armed Forces and those who supported them including allegations that British troops were rapists and murderers,’ he said

‘The right of freedom of speech is very important and the decision to prosecute should not be taken lightly.

In this case the actions of these defendants went beyond reasonable protest and the exercise of freedom of speech.

‘The prosecution was brought in order to prevent public disorder and to protect the rights of British people to exercise their right to the two-minute silence.’

A grandson of a Second World War soldier said he felt ‘sick inside’ when witnessing the men’s protest, the magistrates heard.

Tony Kibble said tears of anger and rage welled in his eyes as the Muslim group shouted through the two minute’s silence.

he said: ‘Half way through, I looked up to see what was going on around and I saw a ball of fire fall to the ground. Literally, my stomach turned over.’

He continued: ‘I felt sick inside. It is something that means so much to me and to see what I believed to be a wreath of poppies fall to the ground – it is just despicable.’

Video footage of the incident was shown in court today.

In it, a leader of the MAC can be heard to say ‘the two minutes have started’ before leading a series of anti-British chants.

Around 20 men at the demonstration joined in with shouts of: ‘Burn, burn British soldiers, British soldiers burn in Hell.’

The crowd continued: ‘British soldiers – murderers, British soldiers – rapists, British soldiers – terrorists.’

The trial continues.

The price Lebanon paid for appeasement.

Brigitte Gabriel warning us of what happens to once great nations when tolerant countries with open border policies give sanctuary to the Islamist virus. Christians in Lebanon were rewarded with death, starvation, and hated by the muslims. It is an example of how muslims will islamize and victimize societies that treat them as equals instead of recognizing the evil that islam embodies.

Muslim protest mars Cameron’s east London visit.

The National papers reported that the launch of the Welfare Reform Bill will be at Toynbee Hall today, but three hours later only Politics.co.uk has details of what happened when the Prime Minister arrived.

David Cameron’s welfare reform launch suffered a minor setback from disruption by a small group of Muslim protesters.

The prime minister was highlighting Iain Duncan Smith’s welfare reform bill in Toynbee Hall, east London, when police guarding the venue were surprised by a group of around ten men.

One demonstrator was overheard telling police officers he was from Walthamstow. The protesters held placards stating “Women are provided for under Islam” and chanted “UK, UK, Islam is on its way”. They called on the government to withdraw from “Muslim lands” including Afghanistan and Iraq and shouted “British soldiers go to hell”.

Another (protester) explained afterwards that the small-scale demonstration had been organised by “Muslims who have got upset”. A bit miffed were they?

Islam’s intolerance towards Gays outside of a Mosque

Three Muslim men have appeared in court accused of stirring up hatred of homosexuals in the first case of its kind in Britain.

Ihjaz Ali, 41, Umar Javed, 37, and Mehboob Hussain, 44, are accused of distributing threatening written material intending to stir up hatred on the grounds of sexual orientation after they were said to have handed out leaflets calling for the death penalty for homosexuals.

Two of their alleged accomplices, Razwan Javed, 30, and Kabir Ahmed, 27, were charged with the same offence on Thursday.

All five will appear in court next month for a committal hearing after a district judge ruled the case would have to be heard by the Crown Court.

All three men plead not guilty to leafleting in Shaftesbury Crescent and Princes St, whilst Ali plead not guilty to a further charge of distributing leaflets outside the mosque.

Razwan Javed and Kabir Ahmed, who are charged with distributing leaflets outside the mosque, have not entered pleas.

It is the first prosecution since laws outlawing homophobia came into force last March.

The Public Order Act 1986 was amended by the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008.

10. Are you a hatemonger? I don’t believe in promoting hatred.

When you criticize Islam, you may very well be accused of being a “hater,” as if telling people about basic Islamic doctrines means you advocate hatred toward Muslims as the solution. And nobody likes a hater, or wants to be one.

This objection is fairly easy to answer. Here are three possible ways to respond:

1. Hatred is not the answer. If anything, I am anti-hatred. That’s why I am trying to expose Islamic teachings: Shari’a law includes a system of legally-mandated hatred. Mohammad is their model, and he expressed hatred toward non-Muslims. He maligned them, robbed them, tortured them, killed them, raped them, and took them as slaves. Muslims are supposed to follow his example. It says so in the Qur’an over seventy times.

2. I’m talking about the teachings, not the people. Some Muslims follow the teachings, and some are Muslim in name only. But non-Muslims need to know about the teachings, because many of the most fundamental Islamic teachings are about how to deal with non-Muslims. According to the teachings, we must be subjugated under Islamic law. All of us. Voluntarily or by force. And the tens of millions or hundreds of millions who follow Islamic doctrine to the letter are actively working toward that end. They have gained control over how Islam is taught in UK schoolbooks. Devoted followers have set up organizations in the UK and other Western democracies with the express purpose of undermining those democracies from within. We need to know about this stuff. It is affecting us already.

3. If I say the teachings of communism advocate ending economic inequalities, does that make me a hatemonger? If I say Republicans advocate smaller government, does that make me a hater? If I say Buddhists believe in reincarnation, does that make me a hater? But if I say the teachings of Islam advocate striving to institute worldwide Shari’a law, that makes me a hatemonger? That doesn’t make any sense. Where did you come up with that?
WHEN YOU answer these questions, think of the question itself as an earnest request for knowledge, even if the question comes out as an accusation. People don’t really know how to understand what you’re doing, so they use the only model they can think of to interpret your actions: They think you must be like a racist or a religious bigot or something along those lines.

So a helpful response is to give them a better model to interpret with. What you’re doing is much closer to education than hatemongering. Urge them to read the Qur’an for themselves to find out more about it.
